Why do Christians complain that I am condescending when I ask questions about their beliefs?

Christianity is on the level of ridiculousness as a man that claims to be able to walk on water and turn stuff into other stuff just by magic. Because that's what you actually claim. Do you no get that? You = believe in fairy-tales me = does not believe in fairy-tales. How can I not be condescending?
