Would like info on professional or good ear protection for musicians?

Well, if you really want to get some good ones look for an audiologist in your area and have some made from custom molds. This is the best solution by far. I personally get the little spongy ones and they've always worked fine for me, they just need to be replaced pretty often as they get quite nasty over time.
