Need advice on buying headphones?

I'm looking to buy some new headphones. I like to listen to music loud, but I'm not in the position to use speakers. I don't mind what the headphones look like, as long as they can handle the sound without sounding crackle-y and still have a good depth and b. Preferably not too expensive either.
